Leeds turn down Boro offer for Viduka | World Soccer

Leeds United have turned down an offer from Middlesbrough for Australian striker Mark Viduka.

Middlesbrough manager Steve McClaren was reported to have offered £4m for the 28-year-old, who has returned to Leeds after returning home to spend tome with his ill father.

But Leeds have rejected the offer believing the retention of Viduka remains their best hope of preserving their Premiership status.
